Diddy's MySpace has a picture from the set of his upcoming video for "Tell Me", the second single off of "Press Play".
I watched it. It wasn't bad. I liked the "I'll Be Missing You" performance better than "Come to Me." Was Danity Kane actually singing? I wasn't sure.
Just watched it. Interesting program. It said that it was done on July 22 from 12:00 PM to 6:30 AM. I guess he really doesn't sleep. lol A couple of details:
Regarding the charity basketball game where 9 died. He said that everyone left, ran out of there and he was alone, performing mouth to mouth. And he said that he definitely thought about killing himself.
He said that the night before Biggie died, he recorded a record where he said "Bad Boys don't die, we multiply" and it felt strange to him for some reason.
Diddy talked with MTV about his influences in creating "Press Play":
"Conceptually, that was something in the back of my head: 'How do I move people? How do I use voices? How do I stay in my lane?' I'm good when I play a role as an orchestrator and give you different things. When you hear the unique backgrounds and the horns and the percussion, it gives you a unique thing. I pride myself on being a great entertainer."

You may have noticed that Hip Hop Galaxy is reporting that Diddy is "facing" a lawsuit from producers and writers that worked on Bad Boy projects. They list "Clark Kent, Easy Moe Bee, Lord Finesse, Buckwild, Carlos Broady, the Hitmen, Loon, Craig Mack, and Angela Winbush" as potential plantiffs. They cite a story at AllHipHop.com as the source.
The only thing about that is that I don't see a recent story on this. (If you see one and I missed it, please let me know). But, I do remember a story like this a while back, so I looked it up by taking the Lord Finesse quote from the Hip Hop Galaxy article and found it. Read it here. January 25, 2006.
Buckwild said back in June that there is no lawsuit out against Diddy.
So, what I am saying is that I believe they are reporting an old story as new and I have an e-mail into them.
Watch below. Features: Aasim, Harve Pierre, Cassie, Christian Daniel, Block, Jody Breeze, Doug E. Fresh, Chino Dolla, Trey Songz, 8 Ball & MJG, Cheri Dennis and Brandy "Ms. B" Hambrick.
A couple of notable things from 6 Degrees of Diddy:
- I guess they asked him what the "Bad Boy dream team" would be and he said he couldn't answer that. He said Biggie would be on the team and everyone would be back together, happy.
- He said "a lot of people think he was responsible for smoothing him out and putting jewels on him." But, Diddy says that much of that was Biggie's idea.
WhatsPoppin.net has pictures. Attendees included Diddy (of course), Aasim, Earvin "Magic" Johnson, Kanye West, Q-Tip, Mary J.
