Diddy will be appearing with a substantial portion of the Bad Boy roster on DJ Whoo Kid's Shade 45 show on New Year's Eve. The show runs from 12 PM to 5 PM ET.

Alongside Diddy will be Cassie, Machine Gun Kelly, French Montana and Red Cafe, in addition to Steve O (seems likely he'll connect with Machine Gun Kelly at some point on the air, seeing as the rapper name checks him repeatedly on "Wild Boy"), Rocsi, Matisyahu, Busta Rhymes and Waka Flocka Flame.

With 2011 coming to a close, Bad Boy Records will break it's streak of 17 consecutive calendar years where it released at least one album.

From 1994 through 2010, the record label put out at least one album every single year. In 1995 and 2002, it put out only one album. The most prolific year was 2008, which saw 8 releases (counting 8 Ball & MJG's "Living Legends" and the "Chopped and Screwed" version both as one release).

During the span, Bad Boy averaged 3.8 releases per year (including "Bad Boy Records Presents Dance Mixes Volumes 1-4" as one release and Jordan McCoy's self-titled digital only EP). For more information, please see our full list of Bad Boy releases.

Bad Boy's last release was Diddy/Dirty Money's "Last Train to Paris" on December 14, 2010. Right now, it appears that Red Cafe's debut album may be Bad Boy's first release. The rapper has been referencing a February 14 release date for "The Shakedown," which at that point would be Bad Boy's first release in exactly 14 months.

TMZ reports that Kevin Faraday, a man who allegedly was injured during the taping of an episode of "Making the Band" in 2008, has filed a lawsuit against Diddy, MTV, Bad Boy and many others.

The taping took place at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City and Faraday says that the injury took place when a person ran on the stage, between performances, and grabbed a microphone, which then came in contact with Faraday's stomach.

The full list of people and organizations that he is suing, according to TMZ, is as follows: Diddy, MTV, Danity Kane, Day26, Donnie Klang, Cheri Dennis, "Making the Band," Bad Boy Touring, Bad Boy Entertainment, Bad Boy FIlms, Live Nation Touring, Live Nation Family Entertainment, Manhattan Center Studio, Manhattan Center New Yorker Group, The Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity, Strike Force Protective Services, John Doe and Jane Doe.

Julia Terruso of The Star-Ledger reports that the "Friday Before Christmas Party," held on December 23 and hosted by HOT 97 and DJ Wallah with special guest French Montana, ended in violence before Montana could even take the stage.

Jayson Perry, 21, died after he has stabbed. Five more people were stabbed, while one was shot, with only a superficial wound. None of the additional victims are facing life threatening injuries.

According to Shaun Mehtani, co-owner of the venue where the party was hosted, the trouble began when Montana's entourage, numbering around 40, entered and wanted access to the VIP area.

"Everyone was enjoying themselves," he said. "The trouble began when his entourage arrived. They started yelling at the people in VIP. They were taking their drinks."

This led to a fight which forced the venue's security team to attempt to bring the party to an end and flush everyone out of the building. Police are investigating the incident.

I was watching TV last night when a familiar beat hit my ears - the beat from Craig Mack's 1994 hit "Flava in Ya Ear." It promotes the Big Mac and Mac Snack Wrap.

The irony is that, back when Bad Boy was just getting started, Diddy launched a creative campaign to promote both Mack and The Notorious B.I.G. - B.I.G. Mack. A promotional image featured them pictured at a Burger King with familiar fast food packaging with the Bad Boy logo and similar iconography.

They also released a "B.I.G. Mack" promo cassette with tracks from both artists.

In an interview with Vibe, Red Cafe discusses his upcoming album, his 5 favorite Bad Boy songs, the making of "Fly Together" and more.

Can you let us know any producers you’re working with?
I like to be involved with the production, I’ve been around so long that I know how to make records and I had hopes that Swizz Beatz would produce me or Just Blaze or Timbaland or Pharrell – all the great producers and I didn’t get produced by them. At this point I just learned and kept going back into the studio. So I just worked with a lot of underground producers.

"The story of that beat, I had did that for Funkmaster Flex," he said. "I always liked that record ['Funky Child' by Lords of the Underground]. The part that was catchy to me was the horns on the 'Funky Child' record. I went to my producer, Harry Fraud. He sat on it, he didn't want to do it. But, I came in the studio one day and made him do it. Then Charlie Rock was just there while we was making the beat, then he kept coming out with that melody on the chorus of 'Shot Caller.' Then I said, 'you need to go in there and do that.'"

AllHipHop.com reports that, in a conversation with Nicki Minaj for Interview Magazine, fashion designer Donatella Versace praised The Notorious B.I.G. personally and discussed his promotion of the Versace brand.

"I think Biggie was amazing," she said. "He came to my shows in Paris many times and we'd see each other often. He always used to talk so nicely about my family. I think he was so smart, so intelligent."

"He had such a mind," she continued. "So, I loved what he was doing and how he was giving people a way to know about Versace - I do think he was giving people a way to know about Versace - I do think a lot of people started to know about Versace because of him."
