On Twitter,
Aasim revealed that he'll be releasing a single featuring Dawn Richard. According to
David Harraway, the record was produced by Aasim, but Tony Dofat was brought in to mix it and he "he added his skills to the beat."
Yesterday, Power 105.1's
DJ Envy premiered a new single from Red Cafe, titled "Money, Money, Money." On Twitter, Envy referred to it as the "1st single." The record features rap verses from Diddy and Fabolous.

Back in May,
we learned that The Notorious B.I.G.'s "Juicy" would be featured in the "Def Jam Rapstar" video game. Over on NetworkWorld.com,
Dave Rudden of GamePro writes about the latest confirmed tracks, and more Bad Boy or Bad Boy-influenced material has been added.
The big one is Diddy's "It's All About the Benjamins (Remix)." But, Nas' "Hate Me Now" featuring Diddy and Yung Joc's "It's Goin' Down" have both been added, as has the Diddy-produced Mary J. Blige cut, "You’re All I Need/I’ll Be There For You."
The game is due out in October and can be
pre-ordered on Amazon.com.
Back in February,
I reported that Janelle Monae had begun shooting the music video for "Cold War." That video has now been released. The cut, which features a tight shot of an emotional Janelle Monae's face, can be watched below.
Back in July,
I reported on the upcoming release of "Bottles" by Dawn Richard featuring Trina. At that time, a snippet of the record had been released.
Dawn Richard has now released the full record available as a
free download via
press release. It was produced by Rob Holladay and written by Richard and Da Internz.
It is the lead single from the
upcoming (and long delayed) Danity Kane Comics soundtrack.

In the series of clips below, DJ Scream interviews Russell "Block" Spencer of Block Entertainment. The most interesting part is in the second clip, where he talks about
Yung Joc's departure from Bad Boy and gives his side of the matter.
This is Spencer's account of the events, and his side only (we have
covered Joc's side in detail previously): Joc wanted to dissolve his relationship with his long time manager Rico Brooks. But, Spencer told Joc that that wasn't fair, given Brooks' investment in him as an artist, instead suggesting he bring another person in as Brooks would be open to sharing the duties and, he says, the money.
Allegedly, Joc was not satisfied with that proposal and, in return, Block pushed Joc's album back and released Gorilla Zoe's album in his spot. Joc went directly to Diddy (Block referred to this as going "behind his back"). When Diddy declined to get involved, Joc went to Lyor Cohen, who also declined.
Block also spoke on his relationship with Diddy and confirmed that Gorilla Zoe was still signed to Bad Boy through Atlantic.

we mentioned in July.
According to
Diddy on Twitter, the
