I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has supported Bad Boy Blog in 2011. Thank you to everyone who loyally reads and subscribes and to everyone who shares our content and appreciates what we have going on here. It means a lot.
I hope that you have a great holiday season and a happy, healthy and successful 2012.
French Montana, Juicy J and Project Pat have just released their joint mixtape, "Cocaine Mafia," for free download on DatPiff.com.
It is hosted by the Evil Empire and features collaborations with Akon, DJ Paul and Chinx Drugz. Below, you listen to the mixtape and check out the cover and track listing.
I was watching TV last night when a familiar beat hit my ears - the beat from Craig Mack's 1994 hit "Flava in Ya Ear." It promotes the Big Mac and Mac Snack Wrap.
The irony is that, back when Bad Boy was just getting started, Diddy launched a creative campaign to promote both Mack and The Notorious B.I.G. - B.I.G. Mack. A promotional image featured them pictured at a Burger King with familiar fast food packaging with the Bad Boy logo and similar iconography.
They also released a "B.I.G. Mack" promo cassette with tracks from both artists.
Red Cafe's "Let It Go (Dope Boy)" has been released digitally. The song, which features Diddy and was produced by Jahlil Beats, can be purchased on iTunes (clean, explicit) and Amazon.com (clean, explicit).
Following the "Art of Celebration" commercial, Ciroc has released an expanded, 3 minute version titled "Luck Be a Lady," directed by Anthony Mandler.
The title comes from the Frank Sinatra song of the same name that plays throughout.
The clip features an array of actors and models, including Eva Marcille ("Young and the Restless"), Lisa Seiffert, Dania Ramirez ("Entourage," "Heroes," "X-Men: The Last Stand"), Jerica Lamens, Jessica White, Christine Teigen, Jing Ma, Chad Michael Murray ("One Tree Hill"), Jesse Williams ("Grey's Anatomy"), Michael K. Williams ("The Wire," "Boardwalk Empire"), Matt Goss (singer, Caesars Palace headliner), Aaron Paul ("Breaking Bad"), Christopher Jones and Frank Vincent.
You can now purchase the full version of Machine Gun Kelly's "Invincible," a song that was first heard in a commercial for the HTC Rezound. It features Ester Dean.
You can buy clean and explicit versions on iTunes. Check out the single cover below.
