From MTV.com:
Diddy introduced a select few to the next phase of Bad Boy Records Tuesday night in New York. Sean Combs held a small party at his Daddy's House studio and previewed music by newcomers Cheri Dennis and Yung Joc and veterans 8Ball and MJG.
Atlantic Street has them as May 23 (Yung Joc) and June 13 (Cheri Dennis).

The official Bad Boy site has been updated.
The roster has been updated. Additions include Los, Cassie, Christian Daniel and Ness. Various artists were removed. Off the top of my head, Black Rob and Mase. Babs was on there, I think and she is no longer. This does not mean, however, that they are actually off of the Bad Boy roster. Not all artists are listed.
Edit: Young City was removed. Carl Thomas was also removed ( that may be an ominous sign).
New album release dates include Yung Joc (May 2006), Cheri Dennis (June 2006), Diddy (September 2006) and Jordan McCoy (September 2006).

This rumor has been making rounds lately, but this interview (March 13) has some interesting bits.
Is there any truth to the rumor that Diddy is signing you to Bad Boy to distribute your album?
I can’t talk a lot about it. Honestly, Diddy is a good dude. I’d love to be in business with him. I haven’t discussed it at length beyond the fact that he really is signing Southern artists and helping Southern artists step onto a bigger plateau. ...
You don’t think he overshadows artists?
It’s not that Puff takes your shine; you just gotta be a n**** that know how to shine. Puff didn’t take no steam from Ma$e, he didn’t take no steam from Biggie; he added to what they gave. When I saw Biggie in that suit and I seen that lil’ skinny n**** run out next to him in a suit, the n**** who owns the company hype-manning for him, this shows that this is a n**** that, by hook or by crook, is gonna help his artists win. For all the s*** n****s talked about dude, if he standing next to you, you know you gonna be in the magazine Monday. If he’s not standing next to you, you’re prayin’ that your publicist is good enough to get you in the magazine.

So, what's this? Well, my guess is that it is a mockup of a blog type site that Ryan Leslie (et. all) came up with as they are trying to get Diddy to do more with the internet, potentially to get into the blog thing as Mr. Leslie has. If Diddy started doing that, that'd be awesome. Mr. Leslie is taking advantage of what the internet has to offer. Bad Boy is not. You don't need a daily blog. You just need to keep your websites updated and give people reasons to come back. Keep it fresh.
Back in October of last year, I wrote about this on my personal blog. I'm not sure how much of it still applies now, but I am sure plenty does. The piece is reproduced here:

Carl Thomas is listed as an artist at Bungalo Records, along with Heavy D. Can't say, 100%, what it means at this point.
Carl Thomas has released two albums at Bad Boy. His first album, Emotional, went platinum and his sophomore effort, Let's Talk About It, reached Gold status.
