On his Twitter, Mario Winans confirmed that Trina's "Million Dollar Girl" was co-produced and co-written by him and Xplicit. The track features Diddy and Keri Hilson. He also offered a free download link.

For the second consecutive year (see 2008), I've culled my Last.fm listening data in order to map out the songs and artists I listened to most in 2009. Instead of sharing it all in one post, this time I am going to break it up into two and this first post will cover individual songs.

This data takes into account only the top 500 songs from my playlist in the past year, as that is all that Last.fm displays. Where possible, I've linked the song title to Amazon.com where you can purchase the MP3.

Here are the top 25 most played tracks by or featuring a current or former Bad Boy artist:

I wrote last week that Bad Boy did not hold a single ranking on the Billboard charts for the first time since I started tracking their rankings. It turns out that this was incorrect. Whether it was my error or Billboard's, I have no idea, but I apologize for the confusion. Updated rankings have been posted and here are this week's positions:

Top R&B/Hip-Hop Catalog Albums

25. "Ready to Die" by The Notorious B.I.G. (re-entry).

Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs

77. "Love Come Down" by Dirty Money (up from 78).
96. "I'm Ill" by Red Cafe (a new high, up from 97).

For the first time I can remember, since I began covering the Billboard charts on a weekly basis, Bad Boy does not hold a single position on any of the most recent Billboard U.S. album and single charts, which were released today. Probably at least partially due to the lull as things are moved over to Interscope.

Update (12/31/09): I'm not sure what the issue was, but while looking over the 1/9/10 charts, I noticed that there were some Bad Boy tracks listed. Here they are:

Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs

78. "Love Come Down" by Dirty Money (down from 63).

97. "I'm Ill" by Red Cafe (debut).

RealTalkNY shared this video from Tuesday night at LQ Nightclub in New York. In it, Diddy, Dirty Money, Red Cafe and The Lox perform a truncated medley of tracks, including "It's All About the Benjamins (Remix)," "Mo Money Mo Problems," "Love Come Down," "Hottest in the Hood" and more. It's great to see everybody having fun.

As I watched this, a thought dawned on me: one more reason why a one album deal with The Lox would be excellent: it's just in time for the "Last Train to Paris" tour. It'd be cool to see them jump on that and perform the "Benjamins."

Red Cafe told Hot 93.7's Jenny Boom Boom (watch the video below) that he and Cassie are both coming with Dirty Money to Bad Boy on Interscope.

This makes sense as Diddy said in November that Red Cafe still wasn't officially signed to Bad Boy, but that they were proceeding as if he was. Since he's not signed, he has no contract with Atlantic Records and, as such, he'd be one of the new artists and any new artists will be on Bad Boy/Interscope.

However, the one interesting detail that Red mentioned was that Cassie would also be coming over to Bad Boy/Interscope. It wouldn't be a shock if Diddy had wanted to take some of his Bad Boy/Atlantic Records artists over to Bad Boy/Interscope and he had worked that out with Atlantic. Assuming this is how it plays out, Cassie may not be alone, either.

The interview is a little hard to watch because it seems like the host didn't do a lot of research. Bad Boy is certainly still a label, they just changed their major label affiliation. Despite reports, Diddy has said that Day26 is still on Bad Boy as are others who were on the roster, but they are just on the Bad Boy/Atlantic roster. Long term, there may be business to work out, but that's where it stands right now.
