Diddy, who will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this year, noted that his own album is now due Oct. 3 and will bring people back to the dance floor. He also declared that the album will be his last as a solo artist and that he plans to "transcend into more movies."

Q: Have you ever been in front of a crowd that did not respond to you?

A: Can you say Puff Daddy World Tour?
A: Haaaaaaa.

"We [Bad Boy] had to take our bumps and bruises and look at the Billboard charts," Combs noted. "I have two records in the Top Ten [Yung Joc's "It's Goin' Down" and Cassie's "Me & U"] and on the Rhythmic Chart this week [we have] the number 1 and number 2 records with Cassie and Yung Joc. You know, we are talking about 12 years later [since Bad Boy was founded in 1993]. There were times over the last few years, cats was counting us out it's a big week. God works in mysterious ways. It's a huge week to have the #1 and 2 and get a star on Hollywood [Boulevard]. I'm just grateful."

Rapper and producer Sean "Diddy" Combs, rock disc jockey Rodney Bingenheimer and TV host Barbara Walters have something in common.

They will join 20 other celebrities from radio, recording, theater, television and film to be honored in 2007 with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Diddy, the master of promotion, will have to wait a little longer before he starts hyping his next LP, which he's planning to call PD5. The album � due to feature Mary J. Blige, Christina Aguilera and Nas � has been bumped to October 3.
