Diddy is briefly mentioned in the March 2009 issue of Upscale Magazine, in a feature called "Generation Paid." There is nothing newsworthy in the feature, it's basically a quick rundown of his success.

XXLmag.com reports that Diddy previewed "Diddy Boppin" and talked a bit about Mase on a live stream from his Mogulus channel last week.

... Diddy solicited questions from his Twitter followers, requesting that people “hit me with some hard questions. Hit me with something you really wanna know.” When a user asked if he still talks to former Bad Boy artist Mase, Puff stated that he hadn’t spoken to Mase in a while but that they’re still on good terms and that the Harlem rapper-turned-pastor sometimes texts him.

People reports that, during an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Diddy was asked about reports indicating that Diddy had let Chris Brown and Rihanna stay at his home in Miami.

"It was a dark time for them and I was there as more of a support," the music mogul said during an interview on the Ellen DeGeneres Show that aired Tuesday. "I'm not immersed in [their situation]. I'm not going to pass judgment on it. I'm going to be there as a friend."

From DJBooth.net's interview with Royce da 5'9":

DJ Booth: A lot of my coworkers begged me to ask you who you are ghostwriting for these days.

Royce: I’m writing for Diddy right now, that’s pretty much it. I’m so involved with my project, the Slaughterhouse project, that I don’t have much free time to do side stuff. And I don’t even consider Diddy’s project side stuff, I consider that something that’s gotta get done. I’m officially a go-to guy for him; whenever he calls me, I stop what I’m doing, even if I’ve gotta work ‘em at the same time and just get ‘em done.

DJ Booth: When he sends you a check, does he include Sean John clothing and some cologne?

Royce: Yeah, he sends me everything – he sends me some Sean John clothing, Sean John cologne. He sent me a million-dollar check yesterday that I just got. I’ll probably buy you something for Christmas—what do you want?

As I have before, I must note that it's not ghostwriting if you're credited in the album booklet.

In a pair of Twitter messages, Diddy announced that new music, "a new era of Bad Boy hits," would be coming from Bad Boy starting on Thursday.

Shortly after that message, he also said that a new track "for the clubs," called "Diddy Boppin" would be released in 3 weeks, declaring that it was for the DJs.

Update: Just noticed that I can't embed individual videos, I guess. Part 2 is the one currently displayed, but if you click back to the video before it, you'll find part 1.

In February, during a radio interview, The-Dream said that he had given Diddy "the best male record I've written. Probably the best record I've written overall."

Entertainment Weekly has a little more on the track, including a title. It's called "Change." Here's what he said:

''This record I wrote two nights ago. It's [going to be] one of the biggest I ever wrote. Diddy sang the record gracefully. He really pulled it off, and he really surprised me. Because it's Puff, nobody expects it. [But] he's got the goods''
