Gorilla Zoe premiered "Get Off Me" recently on Hot 107.9 Atlanta. He's now released the record online and you can hear it in our audio player.

He posted a free download link on his Twitter page, but the link is now dead. I'll try to get a new one and we'll share it here at Bad Boy Blog if I do.

According to a message posted on his Twitter, Gorilla Zoe just premiered "Get Off of Me" on Atlanta's Hot 107.9 radio station. In the message, he says the track was produced by Zaytoven, who produced "What It Is," "S*** on 'Em," "HelluvaLife" and "So Sick" from Gorilla Zoe's last album, "Don't Feed Da Animals."

Gorilla Zoe is featured on a new track from singer Omega titled "Throw Dem Dollars at Her." Omega appeared as a guest on "Look at Her Go," a track from Zoe's mixtape "The Greatest Zoe on Earth."

On Gorilla Zoe's MySpace, you can listen to "Shut Em Down," which was just added to the page.

NODFACTOR.COM has an interview with Matt Friedman, one half of the Illfonics production duo along with Jed Cappelli. They were behind Gorilla Zoe's "Day Dreamer."

We've just added "Heatbeat" by Gorilla Zoe featuring Daron Jones of 112 to our audio player. It's unclear how new or old this track may be, but it's always interesting to see current and former Bad Boy artists collaborate.

Update: On Twitter, Daron Jones replied to me: "Maybe like 5 or 6 years old. I don't know who the f*** leaked that. Not a good look to steal music..." Out of respect, we've decided to pull the track from our audio player.

Update 2: Also on Twitter, Gorilla Zoe said it is from 2007.

In a similar vein to "Echo," Gorilla Zoe has spontaneously released a new music video for a track called "Day Dreamer." Check it out below, along with some behind the scenes footage.

In the month of February, Gorilla Zoe released a mixtape every day - plus two on one day, for a grand total of 29 mixtapes in 28 days. DatPiff played host to this marathon and, according to the numbers provided on their website, the 29 mixtapes totaled 318,901 listens and 173,156 downloads.

According to DatPiff, a listen is counted when a user opens a mixtape player and, regardless of whether he listens to one track or all of them, it counts as one listen. They also log the IP address, so if that same user was to come back the next day, using that same IP address, they would still count as just one listen.

The most popular mixtapes were generally the ones released earliest. They capitalized off the initial buzz and have also been up the longest, providing them with the longest opportunity to have been seen by DatPiff visitors.
