Danity Kane is the top selling Bad Boy album this week as they moved 39,000 units (583,000 overall), coming in at #21. Yung Joc is next with 17,000 (748,000) at #54. Cassie is in at #115, selling 9,000 copies (230,000). It appears that Christian Daniel failed to chart in his first week, meaning that he sold 4,613 copies or less.
LatinRapper.com has an interview with Pitbull. He talks about Bad Boy Latino.
The label Bad Boy Latino made a lot of news when it was announced that you were involved, but we haven't heard anything lately. What's the present situation?
Present story with that, basically what I do for them is like nonexclusive consultant. If I want to bring them an artist, or whatever. But they're launching their first artist now, Emilio and Diddy, named Christian Daniel. You'll be hearing about the kid, he's got great music. As far as everything that went on there, I got an opportunity to work with two men that I idolize, honor and respect as far as business. There were just certain ideas where we didn't see eye to eye. I just said, other than us bumping heads, why not just do it like this. That's the situation I got myself into with Bad Boy Latino.
So you're sort of an A&R;?
Not an A&R...; Yeah, I guess you can call it that.

Just a little factoid:
During his freshman year in Cardinal Spellmen High School in the Bronx, YoungLord caught the attention of one of the hottest producers in the industry, music mogul, Sean P-Diddy" Combs. Impressed with his talent and age Diddy signed YoungLord to his production team, "The Hit Men" in November 1994.
On this week's The Billboard Hot 100 chart, "I Know You See It" remains Bad Boy's highest, sticking to the #17 spot. "Show Stopper" moved up 6 spots, though, fighting back from #24 to get to #18. "Me & U" fell 3 spots to #29, "Come to Me" fell 2 spots to #30 and "It's Goin' Down" fell 3 spots to #42.
Danity Kane sold 48,000 copies this week, bringing their total up to 544,000. Gold sales! Congrats to everyone involved.
Yung Joc sold 17,840 which brings him up to 730,000. Meanwhile, Cassie sold 9,018 copies, which means she's sold 220,000 copies overall.
Next week will bring Christian Daniels' debut numbers.
Update: They are not on Bad Boy. Please read this update.
From the listening party photos, there was a picture of 2 girls supposedly named Yvonne and Elizabeth. It says they form the group "Myxx" and it says they are "coming soon on Bad Boy."
Another one shows a singer named Ashley Phillips that is also marked as "coming soon on Bad Boy."
Can't find much on them. We'll see, I guess.
On this week's Billboard Hot 100 Chart, "I Know You See It" went up 2 places, moving to #17, a high for the song.
"Show Stopper" also went up 2, moving from #26 to #24. Meanwhile, "Me & U" fell 6 spots to #26, "Come to Me" fell 3 to #28 and "It's Goin' Down" celebrated it's 25th week on the chart by falling 9 spots to #39.
Danity Kane sold 62,000 copies last week, bringing up to 496,000 total. So, next week will put them into Gold sales. Yung Joc is in with 21,000 units, dragging his total up to 721,000. Finally, Cassie sold 12,000 and she is now at 211,000.
From Billboard:
Music videos from artists like Madonna, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Sean Paul will be legally available for the first time on online community YouTube after signing its first commercial partnership with Warner Music Group.
With Bad Boy being a part of the Warner Music Group, this will most likely mean more online content from Bad Boy (even if we've already seen it).
The latest Hot 100 chart is in and Bad Boy has finally fallen out of the top 10 (for now ;)).
The big news is "Come to Me" which jumped from #93 (where it debuted, apparently) to #25. Nice.
"I Know You See It" remained at #19. "Me & U" dropped from 10 to 20. "Show Stopper" dropped from #20 to #26."It's Goin' Down" fell from #28 to #30. So, Bad Boy's got 5 tracks in the top 30. 5 from #19 to #30, actually.
