GQ: You pay homage to Biggie a lot but how would you classify your style?
French Montana: I like colorful stuff. I like wearing stuff that nobody is wearing. That's why I wear the bear hat. I'll wear the whole mink. You wear the animal, but you don't wear the head. I'm wearing the head this time around. It's just like how I took the silk shirt game to another level and went and got the scarves—looked like King Jaffe Joffer out there. You know?

Bad Boy is asking for votes to decide which t-shirt will be offered in Machine Gun Kelly's "Lace Up" album bundle. Voting has just begun and is set to end at 3 AM ET on August 8.
On Twitter, Jay Electronica shared a screenshot of a list of songs, without any elaboration. Among those songs was "Welcome to Knightsbridge feat. Sean Diddy Combs." Electronica's Roc Nation debut, "Act II: Patents of Nobility (The Turn)," does not yet have a release date.

In a statement published by HipHopDX, Day26 announced earlier this week that the group would "take a break" to focus on solo efforts.
This followed a slew of Twitter messages from members Brian Angel, Willie Taylor and Michael McCluney last week, hinting that such an announcement may come.
From what the group has said for a while, they were no longer signed to Bad Boy Records and were Atlantic Records only. But, given conflicting information, we had maintained coverage of them to see where the dust settled. Now that it has, we will cease coverage of Day26.
During their time with Bad Boy, the group released two albums. Their 2008 self-titled debut hit #1 on the Billboard 200, spawning a successful lead single in "Got Me Going." A little over a year later, they followed with "Forever in a Day," which reached #2 and featured "Imma Put It On Her."

Earlier today, Billboard released their charts for the week of July 28. French Montana's "Pop That" saw impressive gains, including a debut on the Hot 100, the chart that represents the top 100 songs in the country, regardless of genre.
The single marks Montana's first on the big board, with the song coming in at #90.

Last night, on "The Late Show with Jay Leno," Machine Gun Kelly performed "Invincible" featuring Ester Dean. You can watch the performance below, starting at the 38:09 mark.
According to the show's website and a hint from the rapper himself, Machine Gun Kelly will be performing on Wednesday night's edition of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." The show starts at 11:35 PM ET.

Yung Berg has released the music video for "Trap," a new collaboration with Los. According to OnSMASH (retweeted by Los) and Rap Radar, the pair plans to release a collaborative mixtape titled "Short Days & Long Nights." No release date has been announced.
Earlier this evening, Day26 member Brian Angel said that he would not be at the Day26 show in North Carolina on Thursday night. Mindless Behavior's #1 Girl Tour is heading to Raleigh, along with Jacob Latimore, Lil Twist, Kayla Brianna, Day26 and Hamilton Park. He went on to remark about his status with the group.
"I'm sorry I wasn't informed of the show," he said. "I thought I was still a member of Day26. Let me find out something different."
This ignited comments from group members Willie Taylor and Michael McCluney, via a series of tweets, hinting that the group had reached its conclusion.
"At the end of the day, you're NOT me because you're NOT ME," Taylor posted. "Now how about you try and be the best YOU that you can be!!! And no we NEVER kicked Brian out the Group. Brian f***** the group up with selfish acts that we'll address later!! I was there til the END! It'll be a cold day in hell before I ever stop! Hell I didn't know none of ya'll before that show, when I was in Chicago grindin' my a** off!! And I'll always support Mike, Robert, and hell, even Que!!! But that n**** thought he was the s*** and tried to take food out the fam mouth!! I'm done with it... I'll Let Mike and Rob tell ya'll what type of snake a** s*** Sisqo tried to pull!!!!! LMAO.
