On Facebook, in October, Liz Davis revealed that she was "about to sign the dotted line with my new MAJOR LABEL in Nashville this month."

That picture became a little clearer earlier this month when she tweeted the following:

To have the amazing opportunity to be on the same label as [Reba McEntire] is a dream come true! She's the reason I'm in the business!

McEntire is signed to The Valory Music Co., also home to Jewel, the sister label of Big Machine Records. Both companies are based in Nashville.

Later, Davis tweeted again regarding Diddy's involvement in her project. "Diddy gave me a start with "Starmaker," she wrote. "And now thanks to him, I am able to re-sign with a top label in Nashville!"

It is unclear if this is through some sort of joint venture with Bad Boy or if she will maintain any sort of affiliation with the label. Reached via Twitter, Davis said that she was unable to confirm any details.

The Associated Press reports that Janelle Monae will be participating in "Digital Life Sacrifice," a new campaign from Keep a Child Alive, a charity co-founded by Alicia Keys.

Participants in the campaign will log off of Twitter on Wednesday and will return when $1 million in donations is reached. They have also recorded a "last tweet and testament" video and will be featured in ads where they are in coffins, signifying their "digital death."

Donations will benefit families dealing with HIV/AIDS in Africa and India. The charity aims to paint a contrast between the attention given to the death of one celebrity and the attention given to a much larger number of deaths at the hands of the disease.

In addition to Monae, Keys, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Ryan Seacrest, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Elijah Wood, Serena Williams and Swizz Beatz will also be participating.
