Much buzzed about, Drake affiliated act The Weeknd, which is comprised of 20 year old singer Abel Tesfaye, made his live debut in Toronto on Sunday. Joshua Ostroff of The Globe and Mail reports that Bad Boy was represented at the show, possibly among the bevy of labels interested in signing Tesfaye.
He even quotes the representative as saying, of the performance, "for a first show? I've never seen anything like this."
Former Bad Boy A&R Geno Sims is offering a free download of "More Than I Can Say" by Nas featuring Keyshia Cole. According to Sims, the song was recorded during the sessions for Diddy's "Press Play" album. The song didn't make the album and didn't get far enough for Diddy to record something for it.
