Fabolous is promoting a new free mixtape called
"There Is No Competition 2: Funeral Service." The mixtape features two tracks with Red Cafe. The first, "Tonight," is listed as Fabolous and Red Cafe while the second, "Funeral Service," is by Fabolous and featuring Cafe, Kobe, Paul Cain and Willie The Kid. Check out an embeddable player below.
Red Cafe has released a 10 minute behind the scenes clip from the video shoot for "I'm Ill," which features Fabolous. Jadakiss, Grafh, Lore'l, DJ Envy, Olivia and DJ Self, among others, make appearances. In the middle of it is an accompanying video to "Wasted (Freestyle)," which will be on his upcoming mixtape,
"Hottest in the Hood, Vol. 2," being released online on March 9.
Cookin' Soul has a free download for the "Gmix" to Grafh's "Bring the Goons Out." It features Jim Jones, Red Cafe, Bun B, Maino and Cassidy. Cookin' Soul is a collective of producers and DJs and they were behind the production of the track.
A remix to Rihanna's "Rude Boy" has surfaced online with an opening verse from Red Cafe. It's unclear if this is an official remix or if Cafe just put his own spin on the track, perhaps for his upcoming
"Hottest in the Hood, Pt. 2" mixtape due on March 9.
This is a couple of weeks old, but
Red Cafe mentioned it on Twitter and I realized that we hadn't posted it here yet, so I wanted to do so. In January,
Red Cafe released a freestyle over the beat from Snoop Dogg's "I Wanna Rock." A short video was also produced to add some visuals to the verse. Watch it below.
On Twitter,
Red Cafe announced that "Hottest in the Hood, Vol. 2" will be released in March 9 and will feature Diddy. Volume 1 released
back in May.
March 9 will mark 13 years since the passing of The Notorious B.I.G.
