An e-mail message sent this morning from Red Cafe's Hottest in the Hood offered a free download of his new single "I'm Ill" featuring Fabolous. The package also includes "Tap It" by Red Cafe featuring Lore'l. Clean and dirty versions of both tracks are available. download now.

On Twitter, Red Cafe mentioned that he'd have a new single out this week, so I asked him for more details and he told me that the track is called "I'm Ill" and it features fellow Brooklyn based rapper Fabolous. We'll have more when the track is released.

On his Twitter, Red Cafe mentioned that he was on the set of the music video for "Thug Luv," a single that he's featured on from the upcoming DJ Kay Slay album. Maino, Papoose and Ray J are also featured on the track. Red Cafe linked to a couple of photos, as well: photo 1 and photo 2.

Red Cafe is featured on the new single titled "Thug Luv" from DJ Kay Slay's upcoming "More Than Just A DJ" album. The song also features rappers Maino and Papoose and singer Ray J. The album is set for a January 26 release and can be pre-ordered now.

On a newly released track called "NYC Angels," DJ Self takes the instrumental from Dirty Money's "Angels" and has Red Cafe rapping over it.

During tonight's interview with Dirty Money, Hot 97's Funkmaster Flex asked Diddy about the situation with Red Cafe and whether or not the deal was official with Bad Boy. He confirmed that the deal was not official, but that they were working as if it was.

"We have a handshake deal right now," he said. "A lot of people don't understand with closing deals, it's not an overnight thing. There's so many things you have to go through in a long term contract. Both of our lawyers have the contracts, we're in the studio working. Once it's fully negotiated and we're both happy, then we'll sign the ink on the dotted line. But, we are moving as if it's done."
