According to Diddy's MySpace and the Entourage website, a new Dirty Money record premiered on the show's most recent episode, which aired on Sunday. The song was called "Last Night Part II." Diddy scored a top 10 hit with "Last Night" off of his last album, "Press Play."
Did anyone hear the record? If so, please let us know in the comments.
Jay Electronica's "The Ghost of Christopher Wallace" ( free download features the rapper on the first half of the cut and then Diddy continuing to talk on the rest of the record.
Some people like it, some people don't. With the exception of the random generalization of bloggers, I love that stuff and I've always loved Diddy's ad-libs. It seems like Jay Elect is a fan, too. He spoke with MTV News' Shaheem Reid about the record and how it came to be. Speaking in reference to Diddy talking on the record, this is what he said:
"I told him to. That's the Puff I love. That's the Puff I wanna hear. I grew up listening to Biggie records and all these other records. I hear both sides of the coin; some people like it, some people don't. He went long. We was supposed to go in the studio the next day with the engineer and only uses pieces. But I told him, 'Leave it all the way in.' I wanted it like that. A lot of times when I leave skits on there, it serves the same purpose. It's keeping the atmosphere and the energy."
MTV News' Shaheem Reid reports that Jay Electronica is a member of the Dream Team, joining Diddy, DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, Fabolous, Busta Rhymes, Red Cafe and Fat Joe.
As I mentioned on Thursday, Diddy will appear on tonight's episode of "On the Record" on Fuse, hosted by Touré. The show airs at 8 PM ET.
Touré told SOHH.com that one of the things Diddy will talk about is that "Last Train to Paris" may be the last album he plans to sell, hinting that the music industry may more widely embrace a free model that pushes fans toward merchandise and concert ticket sales.
Among other subjects, Diddy will also talk about haters (see the clip below, warming: vulgar) and why Biggie is the greatest rapper of all-time.
According to the official website, Diddy will be appearing on "Lopez Tonight" on July 21 and returning to the show on July 28 to perform with Dirty Money. The show airs at 11 PM ET on TBS.
In June, DJ Chuckie released his remix of Dirty Money's "Hello Good Morning" featuring T.I. At the time, a download of the track was not made available.
In early July, however, Chuckie made it available for free download online. You can download it via the widget below.
A little over a week ago, Diddy announced on Twitter that Fat Joe had joined the Dream Team, the loosely affiliated collective of artists headed by Diddy and also including DJ Khaled, Fabolous, Busta Rhymes, Red Cafe and Rick Ross.
In an interview with Complex.com, producer Lex Luger revealed that Diddy had reached out to him about working in the studio. Luger is credited with Rick Ross' "B.M.F." and "MC Hammer."

Back in May, Diddy confirmed that he had entered into a brand management relationship with Rick Ross, following a report by Billboard in April that the Bad Boy CEO would co-manage the Miami-based rapper.
Last week, Ross spoke briefly about the early returns that he has seen since making the deal.
"More money, bigger offers, more endorsements, a lot of things is going on," he shared regarding the edge Diddy's given him. "You know the natural things that come along with dealing with the biggest figure in hip-hop."
Titled "I'm Still Here: The Lost Year Of Joaquin Phoenix," the Diddy-featured documentary on Joaquin Phoenix's move to rap is set for a limited release on September 10, followed by a wide release one week later. This news comes care of Deadline.com's Mike Fleming.
In May, Diddy told MTV that Phoenix's rap career was "real" and that, if it wasn't, "he tricked me."
