You can listen to a snippet of "Is It You" on Cassie's MySpace. As was previously reported, this song will be appearing on the soundtrack for Step Up 2, a new movie that Cassie will be appearing in.
As we reported back in June, Cassie is one of the spokesmodels for Sean John's new approach to women's. Here is one of the first photos of her in this role:
Cassie revealed that she is currently filming a new movie called "Step Up 2". According to the movie MySpace (you can enter a contest to dance in the movie), she'll be featured on the soundtrack as well, with a track called "Is It You". It appears that you can download the instrumental to the track at the MySpace.
The movie is slated for a February 2008 release to theaters.
This is the video for "Stronger" by Kanye West. The video features Cassie acting opposite of Kanye. She doesn't sing on the track.

According to MTV News, Cassie will be a spokesmodel for the Sean John women's collection. Lauren London has signed on, as well.
I believe we were the first with an official statement last week, but if you don't believe me, here's Diddy:
"Cassie's definitely not dropped from Bad Boy," Sean Combs said on the L.A. set of a video for his next Press Play single, "Through the Pain" .... "She's in the studio [working on her next album]. So many people are excited to be working with her. ... She was just in the studio with Kanye West. She's going to be doing some stuff with Pharrell. People really understand that she does have some talent and it takes some time to mold it. Everybody's not perfect. I think she had some rough shows, just being nervous. Sometimes people have to break out of that."
She's also been in the studio with Bryan Cox as Diddy notes in this video.
Earlier today, a fairly well known gossip site reported that Cassie had left Bad Boy, according to a source. Obviously, it's a gossip site and one that hasn't exactly been known to be proven accurate or to care all that much about reporting facts, so I was naturally dismissive. But, just to be sure, I contacted Bad Boy for an official response. I received it a few moments ago: Cassie is not leaving Bad Boy and she is readying her sophomore release, as we've talked about.
