Jose Sanchez of Channel 5 Belize reports from a visit to a prison in Belize made by former Bad Boy rapper Shyne, now going by the name Moses Michael Leviy. As he has not been a Bad Boy artist for some time, we haven't covered his release from prison, except for the Bad Boy and Diddy related angles of it.

In September, Diddy said he had spoken to him and talked positively about his release in October. But, that month, Shyne said that Diddy hadn't spoken to him at all. Nonetheless, in his speech at the prison, Shyne admitted that he took responsibility for his actions in the club shooting.

“I understood I made a mistake. I accepted responsibility for my mistakes. I didn’t blame nobody for my mistakes. It wasn’t my co-defendant fault that I shot somebody in the club. I did that s***, it was a terrible mistake, and I moved on. That’s what I challenge you guys to do. Don’t blame the C.O., don’t blame the police that caught you, don’t blame the dude that you shot. You have to take accountability for your actions and you have to decide what your future is going to be.”
