In an interview with HeyUGuys, which was published at the end of September, comedian Peter Serafinowicz mentioned that he would like to do a film centered around Brian Butterfield, a character he portrayed on the "The Peter Serafinowicz Show." In the film, Butterfield would be a detective or would host a chat show.

According to the show's Wikipedia page, Butterfield is a "grossly overweight pitchman who appears in various advertisements for shoddy products and services of his own design." This includes a karaoke bar where Butterfield closes every night with a tribute to The Notorious B.I.G. See the hilarious clip below.


During the interview on HeyUGuys, the interviewer referenced this sketch and Serafinowicz said that, if they develop a film where Butterfield is a detective, they would like him to go undercover as an impersonator of The Notorious B.I.G. at some point.
