On Twitter, Rick Ross posted a link to viewhiphop.com, where you can download "Shot Caller (Remix)" by French Montana featuring Diddy and Ross.
This version of the clip includes tags from Funkmaster Flex, who premiered the record last night, so stay tuned for an untagged version.
One small note for Bad Boy fans: the remix includes of portions of the instrumental from Diddy's "It's All About the Benjamins (Remix)." Wanna be ballers, shot callers, brawlers?
At that time, Montana said that the song would also feature T.I. and would not be released for a couple of months. Well, plans change. The remix, featuring Diddy and Rick Ross, has just premiered on Funkmaster Flex's HOT 97 show, according to Diddy. It's only a matter of time before we get to hear the record officially online. Stay tuned.
According to a report by Rap Radar, the song is titled "Tears Up." In that story, B.Dot mentions that it is still unclear if the song is exclusive to the commercial or if it will be released.
"I had an idea that I wanted to manage Heavy D. The only problem was I didn't know him," Sean "Diddy" Combs said. "I just knew we were from the same town. So I made a plan to bump into him. So I would stand on his block hoping he would stop and roll down his window. He would pull up and talk to me and I would be his manager. That didn't work well, because he kept driving by. But then I found out about a pizza shop he liked. So I would hang out there. My plan worker. I met him at the pizza shop. He was the type of guy to hear you out. I asked him if he would help me meet Andre Harrell so I could get an internship at Uptown. He got me the chance to work with Andre and the rest is history. A lot of our dreams came true, thank god.
"He became my friend. He became my brother. And I'm not talking about friend-brother like we cavalierly use the word, I'm talking about a real friend, a real brother," Diddy said. "Somebody I shared my dreams and my secrets with, somebody that's been for me at my lowest point, my darkest hour when nobody wanted to be beside me."
But he also told jokes as he recounted his "bromance" with the rapper, including a recent visit to Miami that was supposed to last for three days, but "turned into three weeks." He added that Heavy D got to know his chef "very well."
