BET has announced the nominees for their 2013 Hip-Hop Awards and French Montana and Diddy both collected two nods each. French Montana's "Pop That" appears in both the Reese's Perfect Combo Award (Best Collabo, Duo or Group) and Best Club Banger categories. Meanwhile, Diddy is up for Hustler of the Year and Sweet 16 (Best Featured Verse) for his lines on Future's "Same Damn Time (Remix)."
Kendrick Lamar talked with HOT 97 and was asked if he liked any of the response records to his verse on Big Sean's "Control." The first one he mentioned? Los. Listen below at the 10:50 mark.
Machine Gun Kelly announced earlier today that he had landed a role in a movie. He hasn't revealed any additional details, but did mention that he had "auditioned for this movie all year."
He's on Meek Mill's "Kilo" alongside Yo Gotti and Louie V Gutta and on Mill's "Bout That Life" with K Kutta, Torch and Iceberg. The album will be released on September 17 and you can pre-order on iTunes.
