This is pretty cool. The New York Times reports on Wednesday at the MSG during Mariah Carey concert, she performed Honey, bringing Diddy on stage to take it back to '97. I'm sure that was a pretty neat performance. Maybe they'll release a video of it or something.

Just a little blast from the past. I was clearing out some links and came across MTV News article talking about various people/groups submiting rock remixes of Victory to Diddy. In the end, they went with the Nine Inch Nails (Trent Reznor) one, but I wouldn't mind hearing the others, of course. But, then, I'm a fan, so that's natural.

On the heels of the "All About The Benjamins" rock remix (currently the top-selling single in the country) Puffy has put out the call for another rock remix, this time for "Victory," the next single from his "No Way Out" album.

Reznor has already submitted a rock version of "Victory" as have Anthrax, the Deftones, Dinosaur Jr. mastermind J Mascis, and Fuzzbubble, the only rock act on Puffy's Bad Boy label. Korn and Megadeth are also poised to get in on the act as well.

From AllHipHop.com's Rumors section:

I heard that Diddy might be in the final stages of a huge ad campagne with Burger King. Yep. Now, the details of this rumor might correspond with the mogul's new album, because I'm hearing its coming up soon.

Just a rumor. I'm more of a McDonalds person, myself...

From contactmusic.com:

He tells MTV News, "Once you've heard one track, you'll want to hear them all. It's like the TV series 24."

I'm a 24 fan, actually.

According to MTV News, Diddy will make his "singing debut" on a duet with Keyshia Cole called "Last Night."

... He's going full-throttle as a vocalist on one song.

"I make my singing debut on Press Play," he said. "I did this duet with Keyshia Cole called 'Last Night.' I represent all of the shower singers out there. I'm not the greatest singer, but I have a lot of emotion in my voice, and this song is a totally different sound for me. I wanted to take some risks on this album, and ironically it's a lot of people's favorite track. I had a lot of fun doing it."

Updating previous entries, Diddy apparently has some ideas for when Rooney comes to town:

"I am waiting to put a definite date in the diary for Wayne to come out and we're both working it around our busy lives," P Diddy told the Daily Star. "I'll close down Macy's and Barney's so his lovely lady can go shopping and Wayne can help me pick some girls for some of the videos I'm working on."
