The Twitter account of Cassie, previously @cassieventura, has been deleted. I checked to make sure that the username had not simply been changed and the account itself has been deleted.
In April, Brian Angel of Day26 deleted his account only to return in October.
It's a shame to see her leave the service, if that is what has happened. But, nothing is for everyone - Twitter included. We all have to decide what to spend our time on.
A new Cassie track featuring Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj has leaked online. It's called "F*** U Silly" and the clip that is out has opening and ending verses from Minaj, but it seems to end abruptly, so it does not appear to be the full track.
It also features a repeating "property of Bad Boy Records" vocal tag, indicating that this is not the final version of the track.
Last month, Red Cafe revealed that he and Cassie will both be signed to Bad Boy/Interscope. Though we haven't been able to officially confirm this with anyone else, the promotional CD release of Cassie's "Let's Get Crazy" has surfaced on eBay and it's noteworthy because it features the logos of Bad Boy and NextSelection, yes, but also the logo of Interscope. It definitely looks like she'll be making the move to Interscope.
In our audio player, you can listen to "Sky Diver" by Cassie. On her Twitter, she said that the track was produced by Chris & Teeb and written by James Fauntleroy II.
Back in September, DJ Webstar released a "BFF (Remix)" with Cassie and Young Deon. XXLmag.com has a new version with Dorrough instead of Young Deon. On his Twitter, Webstar said that there is a video coming for the track.
"Right Time" by Cassie can now be heard in our audio player. This may be one of the old tracks that Cassie said had leaked. But, I'm sure that Cassie fans will appreciate it.
On her Twitter page, Cassie said that "a bunch of songs did get leaked the other day" and that "they were all made 3 years ago & will not [be] on [Electro Love]." "Stray" featuring Brandon Hines may very well be one of these songs.
Our audio player has "Stray" by Cassie featuring Brandon Hines. The track is split pretty evenly between the two singers, but it is labeled as Cassie featuring Brandon Hines. Given the NextSelection call out at the end, it's possible that this track may be a little old, but that is unclear.
Philadelphia DJ Benja Styles has teamed up with Ness to remix Cassie's "Let's Get Crazy." The track gets an entirely new treatment with a lead rap verse from Ness, but keeps Akon's vocals. Download now. The package also includes a clean version without Ness and an instrumental.
