On Twitter, Diddy offered a free download of the trailer for "Make You a Believer," a new song from Cassie that features rapper Jadakiss of The Lox. Download now.
Cassie is featured on the cover of the 63rd issue of BLANK, a Panamanian magazine covering fashion, design, music and more. You can view the cover and the accompanying 8 page spread on their website. There is also an interview, in Spanish. The interview doesn't appear to feature anything new on her album, judging from a quick translation.
BLANK also allows you to download a free PDF copy of the issue, by clicking on the "DESCARGAR > PDF" button on the bottom right portion of the site.
In the interview, she discusses her new album, labeling it "a cool blend of pop, Hip-Hop, and ska. It's urban Gwen Stefani meets Aaliyah."
"I hate referencing people but if you had to compare, that's it," she continues. When asked what her favorite song on the new set is, she named "Lonely Disco Ball," a record that "is about the end of the night when the party is done and everybody has left."
Cassie is featured in the June/July 2011 issue of Vibe magazine. On the cover, which you can see below, there is a teaser for "Cassie: Bad Boy's Fashion Freak."
Cassie, who is of African-American and Filipino descent, is featured in the campaign alongside Selita Ebanks (Jamaican, Irish, Indian, African) and Solange Knowles (African-American and French Creole).
"Today, people are blended and I think the three of us are a prime example," Ebanks told WWD. "Women in my family range from vanilla to the deepest chocolate."
According to Richards, advertisements featuring the trio should be released with June, alongside a repackaging of the line. WWD's coverage was supplemented by a cover featuring all three. Check it out below.
Teen Vogue's latest issue includes a photo spread featuring Cassie and, to go along with that, their website has some behind the scenes coverage and an interview.
The singer shared an "iPad playlist" that was featured in the article and, in doing so, revealed a trio of new records, including a "new single" titled "Bougie S***." "Unprofessional" and "Ex Games" are the other two songs mentioned.
