11/17: Video: Diddy on the Total Request Live Finale (New Album in June)
Diddy has the record for the most appearances on Total Request Live, over the years, with an amazing 37. So, it was no surprise that he stopped by to make it 38 on the finale of the long running MTV show.
Here are clips from the two great Diddy related features. The first is a look at some of Diddy's greatest TRL moments, including some great blasts from the past (like The Skool Boyz).
The second is a montage of the things that Diddy has promoted over the years. And they even give him some time at the end to promote current projects.
After promoting
"I Am King" and "Notorious," he ends with:
"... my new album in June. Turn off the lights... kids turn off the lights, save energy."
Does "turn off the lights" have some meaning here? The way he said it, it almost sounded like an album title. But, then he talked about saving energy, so maybe it is strictly an environmental thing? In any case, I've reached out to someone at Bad Boy to confirm that.
