02/14: No GRAMMYs for Janelle Monae for 53rd GRAMMY Awards
The 53rd GRAMMY Awards were tonight and, unfortunately, Janelle Monae did not
win in either of the
two categories she was nominated in.
In the Best Urban/Alternative Performance, Cee-Lo Green took hom the award for "F*** You." Monae was nominated along with Big Boi for "Tightrope."
In the Best Contemporary R&B Album, it was Usher with "Raymond v. Raymond," ahead of Monae's "The ArchAndroid."
