09/06: Danity Kane Cancellation Leaves York Fair Organizers Scrambling
The
York Daily Record reports that
Danity Kane's late cancellation, for their scheduled York Fair performance, left organizers in a tough spot.
"It was very late notice," Schenck said. "We didn't have time to do anything else."
Ottemiller said fair officials "put up a struggle" when they were contacted by Danity Kane's talent agency about the cancellation.
"We drew their attention to the fact that they signed a contract and should make an effort to perform," he said.
Though I know things come up, this isn't a very good look. It's not very professional to cancel on such short notice.
