A remix to Rihanna's "Rude Boy" has surfaced online with an opening verse from Red Cafe. It's unclear if this is an official remix or if Cafe just put his own spin on the track, perhaps for his upcoming "Hottest in the Hood, Pt. 2" mixtape due on March 9.

This is a couple of weeks old, but Red Cafe mentioned it on Twitter and I realized that we hadn't posted it here yet, so I wanted to do so. In January, Red Cafe released a freestyle over the beat from Snoop Dogg's "I Wanna Rock." A short video was also produced to add some visuals to the verse. Watch it below.

Earlier today, we shared an MTV News story where reporter Shaheem Reid spoke with Yung Berg about the recent Los Angeles home invasion story that he and, at one time, Diddy had been linked to (Diddy is said to not have been involved). This side note, in the story, caught my eye:

When first mentioning the story, I suggested that Yung Berg had, perhaps, done some vocal production work. But, curious to know more about Yung Berg's involvement in "Last Train to Paris," I reached out to Rob Holladay on Twitter and he confirmed that Berg had worked with him on a song for the album.

"He co-produced a record with me called "Make Love to You" in NYC last summer for LTTP," Holladay wrote. "It's crazzzzy!" When asked if Berg had contributed anything else to the project, he replied, "no, that's it as of now."

The lyrics to "Make Love to You" can be downloaded as part of the current "Last Train to Parts" Lyric Book.

In an MTV News article about the recent Los Angeles home invasion story that Diddy was not involved in, this excerpt caught my eye:


Among the many producers and artists mentioned as being part of the project, Yung Berg hadn't yet come up.

I'm just guessing here, but I have a suspicion he may be talking about vocal production, rather than song production.

Back in September, Diddy said that Rob Holladay produced "Love Come Down" and "half" of "Last Train to Paris."

The description of Yung Berg's most recent video blog is "yung berg hollywood robholladay in the studio." And the YouTube channel where he posts them includes numerous mentions of Holladay. If he's been working with Holladay, that could be the tie to "Last Train to Paris."

I've reached out to both Holladay and Yung Berg on Twitter for additional details.

Nadeska Alexis at The Boombox reports that Dirty Money will perform in Brooklyn on March 9, in honor of the tragic death of The Notorious B.I.G. thirteen years prior to the day.

In Ticketing has tickets for $30, plus a $4.05 fee. It's billed as the first performance in Brooklyn for the Diddy-led group. The venue is The LAB Banquet Hall on Fulton Street in Biggie's one-time home neighborhood of Bedford–Stuyvesant or Bed-Stuy.

Yesterday, we heard a new remix to Ester Dean's "Drop It Low" featuring Diddy, Lil' Wayne, Trey Songz and Chris Brown. The song featured a short opening verse from Diddy as well as ad-libs throughout.

Well, another version of the track has been released and this one has a few more ad-libs from him. Listen to it at The Source. Specifically, listen at the 0:44 mark, when Lil' Wayne weaves in mentions of 2Pac and Biggie.

Karina Brown of Courtroom News Service reports that Kaushi Entertainment and Dro-Entertainment have filed suit in Los Angeles District Court, claiming breach of contract and promissory fraud was committed by the estate of The Notorious B.I.G., his ex-wife and former Bad Boy Records artist Faith Evans, his friend Damien "D-Roc" Butler and Butler's company, RocDarling Films.

Kausi and Dro-Entertainment say that RocDarling had agreed to provide them with video of Biggie and that the estate had granted them permission to distribute the clips. For this, they provided an advance of $30,000, but they say that the footage never arrived. They are suing for $5 million dollars. A copy of the complaint is available from CNS.
