As previously reported, the March 2012 issue of XXL features The Notorious B.I.G. on it's cover for the magazine's tribute to the late rapper on the 15th anniversary of his passing.

They have posted some of the tribute online. This includes how Biggie is remembered at the Daddy's House Studios, what he might look like at the age of 40, a look at how other rapper's have borrowed from his lyrics and interviews with Lil' Cease and Biggie's kids.

XXL's March 2012 issue will feature a tribute to The Notorious B.I.G., who appears on it's cover. The tribute includes 40 never before seen pictures and interviews with his kids, their mothers and Junior M.A.F.I.A.

The cover asks the question, "Was 1997 the Best Year in Hip-Hop?" That year, Bad Boy and Diddy ruled the charts. The issue hits newsstands on February 7.

Back in July, DJ Kay Slay released "Bury the Hatchet," a collaboration with The Outlawz, a hip-hop group created by 2Pac who appeared on the Bad Boy diss record "Hit 'Em Up", and Lil' Cease. The music video has now been released. Watch below.
