Amy Calder of The Morning Sentinel has a nice feature on Jeremy Greene, centered around the music video for "Fire Proof," which he shot last weekend in Waterville, Maine, where he grew up. The video will be directed by Dale "Rage" Resteghini who also directed Dirty Money's "Love Come Down" and many more music videos.

Update: The video was not shot in Waterville, but in other parts of Maine.

"The whole concept of it is very much like the movie 'Ghost,'" Greene told Calder. "Me and my girlfriend get into an argument, I leave in an old car, get into an accident and die, and six months later, she starts feeling my presence. I'm like a ghost, being very stalkerish in the video."

Greene revealed that he will join Sean Kingston on tour starting on August 26, and then they will be on tour with Justin Bieber at a later date. He also spoke on his deal with Bad Boy and his upcoming album.

"He got my vision and he let me do my whole album myself," he said." He pretty much kidnapped me and took me home and I lived there for, like, three weeks until the deal was done.""

Resteghini expects the music video to be released in four or five weeks.

Check out our audio player for "How Fly is He" by Jeremy Greene featuring Diddy. The Diddy part is sampled from Dirty Money's "Hello Good Morning," including the title which is from Diddy's rap verse on the track.

Check out our audio player for a new record from Jeremy Greene, "Ain't No Way." There is a rapper featured on the record, but it's not immediately clear who it is.

The track was originally labeled as featuring Ludacris, but it's not Luda. A Google search mentions SippiThaTruth a lot and, at the end of the track, it sounds like he says "this is Sippi." So, that sounds like a better bet.

It appears that the Bad Boy/Interscope roster has grown by one, as Diddy has signed singer/songwriter/producer Jeremy Greene, according to the clip below.

At the beginning, Diddy announces that he's about to sign Greene to Bad Boy and praises the singer's multi-faceted talents before the duo sign the actual paper work. Diddy teases Greene a bit about being from Maine - he was born in Winslow, according to a bio on Friendster.

Greene was featured on E!'s "Living Lohan" TV show and his most noteworthy single to date is 2008's "Rain," which featured versions with Christina Milian, Bossman (purchase) and Pitbull (purchase). You can listen to more on his MySpace and download his free "Elevated" mixtape, which has been downloaded over 3,000,000 times to date. He can be followed on Twitter as jeremygreene1.

His MySpace lists MySpace Records as his record label. Digital Music News reported in January that that the label was being restructured and, according to a source, would shift to more of an A&R focus. MySpace Records was created through a joint venture with - here's where it makes sense - Interscope. It's unclear if MySpace Records will still be involved in his project or if he will simply shift to Bad Boy.

Beyond Diddy, Dirty Money and Greene, Bad Boy/Interscope is expected to sign both Red Cafe and Cassie, if it hasn't happened already. Back in December, Red Cafe said that both he and Cassie would be on the roster and this was bolstered by the appearance of an Interscope logo on the promotional single for Cassie's "Let's Get Crazy."
