The header of
Dawn Richard's new blog says that she has a new song coming titled "Bottles" featuring rapper Trina. The header also mentions that the song is from "A Tell-Tale Heart." This makes it sound like her upcoming album will be titled "A Tell-Tale Heart." You can listen to a snippet of the record (no Trina) on her site, in the top right corner.
With the video below and
this post, Dawn Richard has launched
DawnRichardBlog.com, a new site where she'll be blogging and writing. From the initial 10 posts or so, it looks like the subject matter will include music (hers and otherwise), Dirty Money, fashion, poignant quotes, among other things.
I'm not sure that the tweet should necessarily be taken all that seriously, but
Dawn Richard spoke with Vibe about a tweet that Qwanell "Que" Mosley sent that, in so many words, asked her to marry him.
"He talked about it to me but I didn't know he was gonna do that," she told Sasha Smith. "I feel that's between him and I but I'm happy that he's happy with me and that's all I'll say about that.” Richard tells VIBE. "You guys will know soon enough. Right now, I think Qwanell is such a loving person that he just wants to tell the world all the time what goes on between me and him and that was a surprise to me and I love him for that. But I'm more of a private person. You guys will find out when it's time. I do love him and I do think he's my soulmate."
According to a
tweet sent by producer Rob Holladay, he's working on a new song that features Dawn Richard, Roscoe Dash and Yung Berg. It's unclear whose project it is for.
