Over on the Black Judah MySpace, you can listen to "Say Yeah," featuring Elephant Man. United Reggae reports that Elephant Man will appear on the "Roots World Order," the upcoming album from Black Judah, on the Teflonblood label. It's unlcear if "Say Yeah" is the appearance.
From The Jamaica Observer's interview with Shaggy:
"I'm hoping Elephant Man wins. He's very excited about the nomination, and a win will mean more to him than to me," says Shaggy, who doesn't plan to attend the lavish ceremony in Los Angeles. "[The Grammy affair] doesn't hold that much significance to me anymore because I have seen it not being given to the right people at the right moment. It has lost its meaning for me, but it is still music's highest honour and you have to respect that," he adds, with a hint of finality in his voice.
Leighton Levy of the Jamaica Gleaner reports from Saturday's Shaggy charity concert in Jamaica. Sounds like it went well.
Dancing and deejaying from one side of the stage to the next, he had the crowd dancing, singing and laughing, especially when he asked for the lights to be shone on his face even though he was "not so cute". He even had a little boy come onstage and tried to learn his popular dance moves. However, the rhythmically challenged youth was unable to live up to expectations. After hugging the boy, a move that that drew 'aaaawwwws' from the audience, Elephant Man then said to him "Come offa mi stage." The audience laughed heartily.

Back in August, I reported on the controversy between Elephant Man and Jamaican dancer Ice, who had claimed that he had not been properly compensated for creating the "Gully Creepa" dance that he had worked to create. The criticism was specifically aimed at Ele, who he said had shortchanged him.
Sadly, Ice was shot early on Friday morning, according to The Jamaica Observer. They have reaction from Ele.
"Right now I hardly can find words to express how I feel," said ... Elephant Man.
"To see that the dancer was just enjoying his life and to see this happening to him is very tragic and the whole entertainment fraternity - the entertainers and the dancers - are all mourning," said Elephant Man, who helped popularise the Gully Creeper with a recording.
Our audio player features new music from Elephant Man. Check out "Sweep Da Floor (Pop Champagne Refix)", "Nah Beg Dem Nutten" and "Nuh Beg".
