10/19: Producers and Writers Suing Diddy? Don't Think So
You may have noticed that
Hip Hop Galaxy is reporting that Diddy is "facing" a lawsuit from producers and writers that worked on Bad Boy projects. They list "Clark Kent, Easy Moe Bee, Lord Finesse, Buckwild, Carlos Broady, the Hitmen, Loon, Craig Mack, and Angela Winbush" as potential plantiffs. They cite a story at AllHipHop.com as the source.
The only thing about that is that I don't see a recent story on this. (If you see one and I missed it, please let me know). But, I do remember a story like this a while back, so I looked it up by taking the Lord Finesse quote from the Hip Hop Galaxy article and found it.
Read it here. January 25, 2006.
Buckwild said
back in June that there is no lawsuit out against Diddy.
So, what I am saying is that I believe they are reporting an old story as new and I have an e-mail into them.
