The last few months have been a little crazy and, as such, we have been focusing on high level stories - or stories that happened to cross my desk - here at Bad Boy Blog. At the same time, being a comprehensive source, I at least wanted to summarize some of the stories that fell through the cracks during this time. Check out some of them below.

During last month's Sundance Film Festival, Janelle Monae appeared and performed at the Bing Bar, sponsored by the Microsoft search engine. In the assorted clips below, you can see an interview (first clip) and some performance footage.
Finally, in the two clips below, Bing's representative chatted with a number of attendees. But, if you watch through, you'll see some footage from Monae's performance, as well.

Janelle Monae Receives Mention During Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer's CES Keynote
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer delivered a keynote address at CES - the International Consumer Electronics Show - in January. During the keynote, Ballmer deferred to Microsoft engineer Steve Forbes to discuss the Xbox and Xbox Kinect. A Janelle Monae site appeared, with Forbes referring to it as "one of my favorite new songs."
Here is the excerpt:
Let's go check out some music. Xbox Zune hub. I can also enjoy controller-free access to more than 11 million songs right in the Zune catalogue. I just wave one more time, and when I select music, I can bring up a playlist of songs that I put together in my queue. All right. We've got a little Daft Punk. I think this one is right off the new "Tron Legacy" soundtrack. Also a good film.
And just like searching for a movie, I can swipe to move to the next song. I actually own the music video for this one, so it automatically starts playing, or again I can just use my voice. Xbox, next. All right, there we go. A little Janelle Monae, one of my favorite new songs. So, this is what millions of people are discovering, a new world of controller- free entertainment that you cannot find anywhere else. So, that's Zune.
