The last few months have been a little crazy and, as such, we have been focusing on high level stories - or stories that happened to cross my desk - here at Bad Boy Blog. At the same time, being a comprehensive source, I at least wanted to summarize some of the stories that fell through the cracks during this time. Check out some of them below.
"Saturday Night Live" Comedian Jay Pharoah Impersonates The Notorious B.I.G. for Thanksgiving Skit
Back in November, Jay Pharoah of "Saturday Night Live" participated in a special Thanksgiving edition of "Weekend Update" with Seth Meyers. Pharoah suggested that white people had "all the Thanksgiving songs." When Meyers said that there weren't any Thanksgiving songs for white people, Pharoah said that there should be a hip-hop Thanksgiving song and proceeded to do impersonations of Jay-Z, Drake and Biggie. "That's kinda why we put the case on hold; until [the police] can prove that they're actually pursuing it," says Evans, who was estranged from Biggie at the time of his death. "But in our hearts – the family – we have an idea what happened. We don't know who pulled the trigger but we have an idea what went on. It's not something I would speak on because it’s still a pending case, so that wouldn't be smart at all. But we have an idea, though we don't know if it will ever be solved in the judicial system."
She also talked about how Biggie's son, C.J., landed the role of his father as a kid in the "Notorious" film.

Keyshia Cole Samples The Notorious B.I.G.'s "Warning" for "If I Fall in Love Again" featuring Faith Evans
The Detroit News mentioned that "If I Fall in Love Again" from Keyshia Cole's latest album, "Calling All Hearts," features a sample of The Notorious B.I.G.'s "Warning." The record also features Faith Evans. You can listen to it on her MySpace.
Jamie Foxx Samples The Notorious B.I.G.'s "Big Poppa" for "Living Better Now"
In December, Jamie Foxx released his latest album, "Best Night of My Life." It features "Living Better Now," with a prominent sample of Biggie from "Big Poppa" for the chorus. Rick Ross is also featured on the song. Listen below.
