02/06: Jackie Robinson Foundation to Honor Diddy at Annual Awards Dinner
In March, Diddy will be among the honorees at the
Jackie Robinson Foundation Annual Awards Dinner.
The ROBIE Awards honor individuals "who embody the humanitarian ideals of Jackie Robinson," according to the
press release. Diddy will receive The ROBIE Achievement in Industry Award and "will be saluted for his innovation in music and fashion, as well as his charitable and philanthropic contributions throughout his storied career."
This follows a
$10,000 grant that the organization received as part of the
Microsoft Tag promotion that Diddy was affiliated with.
The dinner is scheduled for Monday, March 7 at the Waldorf=Astoria hotel in New York City.
