01/07: CNN: Active Leads Being Invested in The Notorious B.I.G.'s Murder Case
Back in April, the
wrongful death case filed against the City of Los Angeles by The Notorious B.I.G.'s estate was dismissed. At that time, estate attorney Bradley C. Cage suggested that the dismissal would allow investigators to continue to analyze the case without fear of liability in the lawsuit.
CNN's Ted Rowlands reports that that is exactly what has happened: local and federal authorities, including the Los Angeles Police Department, the L.A. Country District Attorney's Office and the FBI, are actively investigating leads. This is according to two sources "familiar with the investigation."
One source told CNN that the efforts to solve the case had been "reinvigorated" months ago due to new information. Due to the currently active investigation, no further details were provided.
Thanks
