06/19: Diddy: I'll Take a 5% Pay Cut to Replace Simon Cowell on "American Idol"
Back in May,
Diddy expressed interest in replacing Simon Cowell on FOX's "American Idol." He said that, to take the role, he'd want to receive the same pay that Cowell was earning.
He's now willing to compromise a bit. According to
Musicrooms.net, Diddy told
Britain's GMTV that he'd be willing to take a 5% pay cut. He says Cowell was "on something like $34 million." If that figure is accurate, a 5% pay cut would bring it down to $32.3 million.
