05/28: Diddy Confirms Record with Joaquin Phoenix, Says Former Actor's Rap Move is "Real"
Since at least February, we've known that
Diddy had been working in the studio with retired actor Joaquin Phoenix, who had
reportedly given up his former trade to pursue a career in rap.
But, earlier this month,
there was heightened speculation that it all may be a hoax. Not so, says Diddy.
Speaking to
MTV, Diddy confirmed doing a record with Phoenix, said that the rap move was "for real" and that, if it isn't, "he tricked me." Check out the clip below.
