02/12: Video: Sean John Debut Fashion Show at Bryant Park in 2000
The
New York Post has named Sean John's debut fashion show in Bryant Park in 2000 as one of the top 10 "tent moments at Bryant Park," in honor of the park's final year as host of Fashion Week, ending a 17 year run. Mandy Stadtmiller writes:
4. 2000 — Sean John debuts. “Diddy’s first show was massive,” [Fern Mallis, Fashion Week organizer] says. “There were airport runway lights, and people’s jaws just dropped. All these hunky fabulous guys came out wearing light pastel and more diamonds on than you could shake a stick at — and not one guy looked gay.”
