01/01: Sean John Parent Company Christian Casey Sues Fifth Avenue Store Landlord
The
AP and
Courtroom News Service report that Christian Casey LLC, the parent company of Sean John, has filed suit against the landlord of Sean John's Fifth Avenue store, claiming that erected scaffolding has made the store front less attractive, having a meaningful impact on sales.
In
the filing, Christian Casey seeks a declaration from the court that the landlord, 475 Fifth 09, LLC, was in breach of the lease agreement and damages at trial of at least $2.5 million.
