08/21: Twitter Co-Founder Reached Out to Diddy: "Leaked Notes Don't Reflect Anything"
Back in July,
we reported on TechCrunch's publishing of leaked notes from internal Twitter strategy meetings that mentioned Diddy in both a favorable and unfavorable light (generally, it was more of the latter).
Kim-Mai Cutler at VentureBeat spoke with Twitter co-founder Biz Stone about the leak and their efforts to control the damage.
He said that Twitter reached out to everyone who was mentioned in the notes to make them aware of the situation and "to tell them that these notes didn’t reflect anything."
He also talked about their meeting with Diddy. "When we came away from that meeting with P. Diddy, we were super impressed with how savvy he was," Stone told Cutler. "He has stayed relevant for so long and how does he do it? He’s constantly reinventing himself."
