Janelle Monae's recent performances at the South by Southwest (SXSW) music festival have drawn rave reviews and positive press from the
Boston Globe,
Metro,
The Pitch Kansas City,
Austin Music Source, the
New York Times (
twice) and the
Los Angeles Times.

Word on the street, and in hotel elevators and the corner Starbucks, spread fast at the South by Southwest Music and Media Conference here last week. It usually went something like this: "Oh my God, have you seen Janelle Monáe yet? You. Have. To."
