11/15: Bad Boy A&R Daniel "Skid" Mitchell Launches Site Dedicated to the Life of an A&R
Bad Boy A&R Daniel "Skid" Mitchell has launched
The New AnR. He describes the site as "an attempt to explain what the duties and responsibilities and life of an A&R trying to make hot records and find new talent." In a
MySpace bulletin announcing the site, he says that he wants to help people make better music.
A&R stands for Artists and Repertoire. Generally, it's an individual or department at a record label who is at least partially responsible for talent discovery and development. If you are looking to get signed by Bad Boy, I believe that it would be worthwhile for you to join this site.
