Dollhouse, one of the most recognized junior contemporary lines has tapped multi-platinum pop group, Danity Kane to launch Danity Kane for Dollhouse Jeans. The line of jeans will hit retail this November, in time for the busy holiday shopping season.

New York, NY (PRWEB) September 16, 2008 -- Dollhouse, one of today's most recognized juniors denim brands, has partnered with multi-Platinum female pop group, Danity Kane, to launch a denim line set to hit retail in November. Danity Kane's #1 album Welcome to the Dollhouse served as the inspiration behind the collaboration. The line will have Danity Kane inspired hardware and overall design and is set to be carried in Macy's, Mandee, specialty stores, and on Dollhouse.com, with retail set at $58.

The group's input on personal style played a significant role in the development of the line. Design details include distressed denim, leather detail outlined pockets, coated denim with gel embroideries, and novelty patterned denim with intricate metal/zipper details. All Danity Kane for Dollhouse styles will have back pockets and trim details with the Danity Kane logo.

To support the launch of Danity Kane for Dollhouse jeans, an exclusive press preview was held on August 18, where MTV cameras filmed the action for an upcoming episode of Making the Band 5. During the event, in an interview with Extra!, Aubrey O'Day, a member of the group who recently starred in Hairspray, expressed the group's desire to create a jeans line that caters to a broader range of body types.

"We have diverse women in this group and want to make sure that our Dollhouse jeans fit every type of body, from big booties to small booties, and look fabulous. Plus it's affordable and that's the best thing about it."

Dawn Richard, a member of the group adds, "We're excited about this partnership with Dollhouse. The jeans are fun with cute hardware and details that imbue Danity Kane. It's like what we would wear to school!"

Dollhouse.com & Danitykane.com will feature exclusive content and contests with online shopping deals directly targeting their customer base where they spend most of their time.

For both parties it's a win-win situation. Dollhouse can attract the Danity Kane fan base and Danity Kane can extend their empire to the fashion industry. With Dollhouse's youthful and trendy style combined with the diverse individual styles of Danity Kane this partnership is a sure success.
