Despite numerous reports, Sean "Diddy" Combs is not quitting music for acting, a representative for Combs told Bad Boy Blog.

Similar to the recent stories on a name change, it appears that something he said was taken and sensationalized a bit to mean something other than what he meant. He's quoted as saying, "Right now I'm transitioning from a recording artist to acting." He doesn't have to quit being a recording artist to transition into an actor. He can be both - and already is.

Personally, I doubted the story because, let's face it, Diddy loves music. I don't see him ever quitting it, really. And I hope he never does. But, to be sure, I reached out to one of his representatives who, again, confirmed to me that he is not quitting music.
