09/05: Spencer: Boyz N Da Hood to Return for Third Album with All-New Lineup
Block Entertainment CEO Russell "Block" Spencer has
confirmed to me that Boyz N Da Hood will return for a third album,
as previously reported, but it will be with an all-new lineup.
The group's first album consisted of Young Jeezy, Jody Breeze, Big Duke and Big Gee. The second album saw Gorilla Zoe fill in the slot vacated by Jeezy. With the third album, they are apparently starting from scratch.
No word on when the album is slated for release. It is also unclear if the group will remain with Bad Boy or will be part of
Block Entertainment's new deal with Atlantic and E1. Though, it is assumed that they are presently Bad Boy at the moment, as
Diddy has said that all of the artists he had on Bad Boy under Atlantic are still with the label, unless reported otherwise.
