05/07: Press Release: Yung Joc Signs to Polo Grounds Music/RCA Music Group
In November,
Yung Joc revealed that he had been released from Bad Boy and, a day after Christmas,
he said that he had closed his new deal as an artist.
To date, Yung Joc was the only person saying that he was off of Bad Boy and we were unable to confirm it with Bad Boy. Apparently, no one else was, either. Or, at least, if they did, it didn't cross our radar. So, we've continued to cover him in lieu of that.
However, according to a
press release issued by Polo Grounds Music, Joc has signed a deal with Polo Grounds/MCA, joining acts like Pitbull, Yo Gotti, Hurricane Chris and Nina Sky.
As such, our coverage of Joc will now cease. He had a great run at Bad Boy - "It's Goin' Down" was one of the biggest hits of 2006 - and we wish him the best in his future endeavors.
Thanks to Michael for the tip.
