02/09: No Hardware for Janelle Monae and Elephant Man at the 51st Annual Grammys
Unfortunately, neither Janelle Monae nor Elephant Man came away with a Grammy tonight at the
51st Annual Grammy Awards. In the "Best Urban/Alternative Performance" category, "Be OK" by Chrisette Michele featuring will.i.am took home the honors, over Janelle's "Many Moons." And, in the "Best Reggae Album" category, Burning Spear's "Jah Is Real" won, when "Let's Get Physical" by Elephant Man, was also nominated. Disappointing, but being nominated shouldn't be taken lightly, either. Congrats again to Janelle and Ele.
