Having watched episode 5 of "I Want to Work for Diddy" it's time for me to rank the contestants based on their overall chances, in my opinion.

1. Suzanne (Last Week: 1). She was in the background a lot on this one. But, the fact that you didn't hear from her means she didn't cause any drama. For me, it's about overall consistency. She may not have stood out exceptionally, but she didn't hurt the team, she didn't create any distractions and the team won. She's been consistently good.

2. Stefanie (LW: 3). She got things done in taking care of Kim Porter the first day and then shopping for the gift the guys were supposed to get, on the second day. Not to mention picking up clothes for Justin Combs. Main negative: she played Porter too close. As they pointed out during the judging session, they need an assistant and not a friend. But, overall, quite productive and she gets boosted up a slot.

3. Mic (LW: 2). Mic continued to show strength in focusing and getting things done. But, there were a few miscues and that is why he falls. Perhaps the most noticible one: the idea of buying Diddy clothes as a gift. Diddy has his own clothing label and his own fashion consultants. They met Derek, one of his assistants, earlier in the series. Derek's a fashion advisor. Diddy knows what he wants in clothes and he buys them himself. That could have been a disaster.

4. Laverne (LW: 4). Like Suzanne, she stayed in the background, but was productive and didn't create any negatives. Not to mention she had to switch teams, abruptly, at the very start of the challenge. She adapted well and her team won.

5. Red (LW: 6). Red gains for a few reasons. He was the leader of the challenge for his team and his team won. Unlike past episodes, there were not any flare ups or loud arguments. He didn't let Kim bait him and he picked out a great gift that fit the description provided by Diddy's mother.

6. Kendra (LW: 7). Kendra's performance wasn't strong, but Boris hurt his stock so much, in such a short period of time at the end of the show, that she has to gain. While she had her moments (getting Diddy's gift and having it gift wrapped), she made some major mistakes, including the ultimate: receiving a call from Diddy and not picking it up! She let her phone die and Diddy got the voicemail. Also, like Stefanie, she was a little too close to Ms. Porter.

7. Boris (LW: 5). Boris takes a big hit, mostly to do with the last 5 minutes, or so, of the show. The consistency problem has been a recurring theme for him this season. Where Suzanne has excelled in this area, Boris has had a tough time maintaining it for one episode. With him, it has seemed as though the episodes have had two parts: one good half and one bad half. In this one, he started strong, getting items that other team members couldn't or wouldn't get, like specific cupcakes (don't laugh) and a refrigerator. He also stopped Mic from buying clothes as a gift for Diddy (see above). But, the next day, it seemed like a different Boris. He wasn't helping Mic get the kids ready and, when it came time to be judged, he unleashed, alienating every member of his team.

He introduced the topic of Kendra wanting to have intimate relations with Mr. Combs. Now, we don't know the specifics. But, if Kendra said she was attracted to Mr. Combs, in the privacy of her team, I have to say that Boris crossed a line in revealing that, because it's not his business and it doesn't matter. He brought Stephanie into it, in an attempt to confirm the story and she didn't seem happy to be put in that spot. He also said that Mic voted for him because him and Kendra are attracted to one another. Again, same problem - crossing a line.

Finally, he went after Kendra for having a dead cell phone when she lent him her charger when he forgot his! She should have had her phone charged, no disagreements. But, for him to invoke that... it's just not on the up and up. You can't do this on a team.

8. Kim (LW: 8). Kim's manipulation seemed limited in this one, though the idea of Red being a leader seemed like a set up. She was responsible for interfacing with Momma Combs and she performed in a decent manner. Though, it doesn't erase what happened in previous episodes.

So, those are my picks. What are yours? Post your top 8 or top 3 in the comments!
